Low-Angle

A low angle shot is when a camera is positioned lower than eye level and points towards the subject above. This camera angle exercises a psychological effect by making the subject above look bigger and more powerful than it really is. This makes them look glorified and seem higher in value or status. From this angle, it incentivizes the audience to feel beneath them and evokes fear or powerlessness from anyone viewing while conveying power from the subject.
