Art
My first love
I've been a victim of art's wrath since I was a little kid, doodling and vandalizing our furniture with scribbles. Over time, those scribbles became discernable lines and comprehensible drawings.
When I went to school, I had the intention of pursuing art at school until the very end, but due to my inability to manage time, the pressures of teachers and doing 2 coursework based subjects, I decided to drop it 2 months into year 12. Now, I'm doing AS mathematics, psychology and media studies.
Here are a few examples of traditional art I did during my academic years before I dropped AS level Art.

Though my academic art years weren't the most fun, I definitely improved a lot because of it. Nowadays, since I'm only doing art as an expression of self whenever I want, without any external pressures I am a lot happier and am more willing to continue doing art for fun. Surprisingly, I feel like I have improved more in my time in Media Studies than I have in AS art because I have a lot more autonomy and creative freedom. I've learned that I resist doing things I'm forced to do and need time to immerse myself.
My art endeavors don't stop there, before the mocks I made a shirt out of a dress and I still like making digital art to this day, even more than I had with my traditional art. I'm being exposed to art on a daily basis, particularly on my Instagram feed, I love watching people do what they love and taking inspiration from their art styles and creations. With this newfound freedom I feel like I'm constantly growing and getting better.
